Venue Update

Long before the advent of the new virus, we adopted a “bleach all” policy for our venue. With several hundred guests each weekend, we felt this was a prudent thing to do.

All tables, chairs, restrooms, floors, kitchen, and counters are wiped down with bleach water after every event. Several times each season we contracted a cleaning company to do a day-long deep clean of every area. With the introduction of the new virus, we have expanded the “bleach all” policy to include even more frequent touch surfaces. In addition to the above wipe down, we will spray the entire venue with disinfectant after each event as an additional method to clean hard to reach surfaces.

Below are a few recommended guidelines to help make your event safer.

● It is best to have one person serving food rather than having each guest handle the utensils individually.
● Anyone who is sick or has a member of their household that is sick should not attend.
● Those who are at higher risk for severe COVID-19 illness should not attend.
(Consider videotaping your event for future distribution)
● Increase the frequency of sanitizing common touchpoints. (We have disinfectant available on-site)
● Weather permitting the majority of your event should be held outdoors.  Ventilation and light are crucial to decreasing viral transmission -
● Keep an adequate supply of hand soap, disinfectants, tissues, and paper towels.  {We are stocked.}
● Encourage attendees to follow increased hygiene, such as:
o Washing their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
● If soap and water are not available, attendees should use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at
least 60% alcohol. (We have both indoor and outdoor hand wash sinks available}
*Avoid close contact with other people
* Avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth
* Covering their cough or sneeze with a tissue - if available - or into their elbow

With the possibility of event restrictions below is an update regarding Fort Worth Country Memories.

Effective 3/21/2020, we will follow the latest guidelines to help end the spread of this virus. They will be in effect until 4/4/20 subject to change as needed.

Limit of 10 or fewer guests and no use of the indoor ballroom.  We have contacted everyone involved individually with several options and fortunately, we have been able to accommodate everyone during this time frame.

As previously announced, should you elect to postpone your event we are modifying our date change policy for any event scheduled in March, April, or May of 2020. You may reschedule your event to any available date in 2020 at no cost. Our focus at this time is on these events. If the situation does not improve, we will adapt as needed.

Rest assured that we will do everything we can to make your event as safe as possible. If you elect to postpone we will work with you to secure the best available date for your special day.

    This area features our signature red barn, wooden deck, and covered dance pavilion surrounded by dozens of mature trees. Over 500 feet of Edison style lighting creates the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

    Dine or dance in comfort with this elegantly decorated area features six chandeliers, heating, air conditioning and seating for up to 150 guests. With access to a full kitchen, it is convenient to do it yourself or for a professional caterer.

    This area is set in a heavily wooded area featuring an over 100 hundred-year-old oak tree for the backdrop. The brown doors make the perfect entrance to the wooden walkway, deck, and white arbor.
